Freyija - Love, War, and the Shape of Desire

This series grew from the Norse myth of Freyija. Before photographing, I selected a piece of music to establish the atmosphere of the session. The model listened to it and improvised freely, allowing the gestures to emerge without preparation. Throughout the series, love, war, tenderness, strength, desire and solitude gradually appeared through movement, expression and presence. Music became a common language between us, shaping the rhythm of the photographs and guiding the emotional tone of the work.
