Sculptural Bodies - Territory for a Body

This series began with a simple protocol. Each model was invited to observe a selection of drawings and paintings by Gustav Klimt before entering the photographic space. No pose was requested, no composition prescribed. The references served only as a point of departure.

The body was then left free to invent its own language.

Photographed on sheets of white paper spread directly across the floor, the figures occupy a temporary stage without history or inscription. The paper functions neither as a backdrop nor as a symbolic element, but as an unwritten surface where movement, balance and gesture can emerge without constraint.

The resulting photographs no longer refer to Klimt as an aesthetic model. Instead, they explore the body as a living sculpture, continuously negotiating gravity, tension, fragility and presence.

Rather than reproducing artworks, the series investigates the moment when looking becomes movement, and influence gives way to invention.
