Errance - Echoes

These panoramas grew out of long walks through the forests of southwestern France. Rather than describe a place, they hold onto the quiet persistence of movement across a landscape that only reveals itself gradually.
The panoramic format stretches out the act of walking. Vision unfolds horizontally, following paths, clearings and shifting light without chasing a decisive moment. Each photograph ends up less a destination than a fragment of an ongoing passage.
The forest feels both familiar and elusive. Human traces surface now and then, a road, stacked timber, a gap in the trees, before getting absorbed again by the surrounding growth. What is left behind is not a document of a location but the memory of an encounter.
These images treat landscape as a space of attention, where wandering becomes a way of listening. The territory gets experienced not through conquest or discovery but through duration, repetition, and the faint echoes left by each passage.
