Imagined Territories - Imagined Archaeologies

Ruins do not always belong to the past.
Some come out of digital worlds, others out of artificial intelligence. None of them ever existed, yet each one carries the visual language of archaeology, abandoned architecture, eroded monuments, silent cities, traces of forgotten civilisations.
Rather than document historical sites, these photographs ask how memory can be built without history behind it. The camera wanders through places suspended between documentation and invention, where virtual environments turn into archaeological landscapes and imagined ruins start to carry the weight of cultural heritage.
These are not reconstructions of lost worlds. They are archaeological fictions, images that question how a landscape becomes believable, gets remembered, and eventually gets accepted as history.
