Shot in the forest of Huelgoat with a lensless digital camera, the series swaps sharp description for a slower, more uncertain way of seeing. The pinhole process turns the forest into a space suspended between observation and memory, where water, stone and vegetation blur into one continuous flow.
Nothing here stays still. The river wears down rock, moss covers forgotten surfaces, light drifts through the trees. Time is not just measured in change but in the quiet pile-up of transformations that shape a landscape over years, centuries, millennia.
Rather than document Huelgoat itself, Lingering Waters sits with the idea of a place's persistence. What is left is not its exact look but its atmosphere — the lingering sense of having been there, long after the details have faded.
