Material Territories - Quest - Murmurs of the Surface

Quest follows a stone wall photographed repeatedly over time in a rural landscape. Season after season, roots, moss and climbing plants slowly altered its surface without ever destroying it.

The photographs pay attention to these gradual changes. Every visit revealed new relationships between stone and vegetation, making the wall less an architectural structure than a place where different rhythms of growth could meet.

The doorway that occasionally appears never becomes a destination. It simply marks a passage, inviting the eye to continue exploring the surface and everything that time has quietly written across it.
