Spatial Investigations - Duration

Duration asks what is left of movement once the instant itself has disappeared.
The model repeated the same sequence of gestures over and over while I photographed using long exposures. Instead of isolating one decisive moment, the camera records the continuity of the movement, letting successive instants pile up inside a single image.
As time stretches out, the body slowly escapes the precision of its own outline. Forms dissolve, overlap, reappear, while repeated gestures leave behind faint traces of their passage. What is left is no longer a representation of a movement but something closer to its memory.
The photographs live in the space between stillness and motion, where the body shows up not as a fixed form but as a process unfolding through time.
