Skin & Fragments -  Sens

Sens sits between the body seen as a whole and the body read through isolated fragments.
Each image lives inside a circular frame that limits vision on purpose. Instead of showing the whole figure, the photographs move in closer and closer, from the complete body down to single details, skin, hands, eyes, mouth, feet, the small textures that usually go unnoticed.
As the field of vision narrows, identity gets harder to pin down. The body stops being recognised by its overall shape and starts being read through the intimacy of its surfaces. Every fragment carries its own presence, asking for a slower, more attentive kind of looking.
The circular frame works both as a limit and as an invitation. It hides as much as it shows, pushing the viewer to rebuild the absent body through memory and imagination.
Inside Skin & Fragments, Sens looks at how photography turns fragments into full experiences, suggesting that presence can come through more strongly via partial vision than through total exposure.
