Walked Territories

Walked Territories brings together projects that begin with walking, travelling and returning. Some places are discovered during long hikes, others from a motorbike, others through repeated visits over months or years. Photography becomes a way of extending that experience, allowing the landscape to reveal itself gradually.

Rather than searching for spectacular views, I pay attention to ordinary surfaces: streets, forests, rivers, coastlines, cemeteries or geological formations. Each series grows from a sustained encounter with a place and from the time spent moving through it.

Across these projects, the journey is never separate from the photograph. Walking, observing and photographing become part of the same process of discovering a territory.
