Betweenstrap is the place where my practice takes shape.
It isn’t a project or a theme, it’s the way I work.
I don’t approach photography through “subjects”.
What matters to me is the moment when my body, a place, and the time spent walking through it begin to align. I move slowly, often returning to the same landscapes or the same bodies until something settles. The weight of the cameras, the distance walked, the effort it takes to be there, all of this is part of the image long before it appears on film or on a screen.
My work crosses analogue, digital, large-format, panoramics, in-game environments, and more experimental tools. Not for effect, but because each medium changes the way I pay attention. Each one shifts my rhythm, and this rhythm is where the image comes from.
Betweenstrap connects everything I do:
landscapes, portraits, reconstructions, hybrid images, fieldwork, and studio improvisations. Each of them begins with the same gesture (walking, looking, waiting) until the moment where something becomes alive enough to photograph.
